The geology collections include minerals, rocks and fossils from all over the world but are particularly strong in local fossils from the past 50 million years.
- Petrology and Mineralogy
We have a collection of rocks and minerals from around the world including the Yelloly-Watson 19th Century mineral collection.
- Palaeontology
We have a large collection of fossils from the area including the fossilised remains of mammoths, crocodiles and hippos. These include recent finds from the North Sea as well as Victorian material from the Dr Bree collection.
