What?
The museum holds an extensive collection of eggs from British birds which is of particular historical interest.
Collections include that of J. G. Tuck who collected during the late 19th and early 20th century. This collection comprises of 5000 clutches with full scientific documentation.
Where?
The collection is held in the Natural History stores at the High Street Museum Ipswich and is available to researchers by appointment. Please contact Ann Ainsworth - Assistant Curator of Natural History for more information.
