Do you have an interest in history and would you like to be involved in future plans for the museum service?

 

If the answer is yes, then why not join one of our volunteer forum groups? 

  • Younger Persons Forum (people aged 16-24yrs)
  • Older Persons Forum (people aged 60+yrs)
     

The forums are currently focussing on the redevelopment of Colchester Castle. Read more about this project by clicking here.

As a group you will meet at Colchester Castle to discuss and give your opinion on the museum’s plans for the new displays and visitor facilities at the Castle. This is your chance to have an influence on a major public project in Colchester, to explore the Castle behind the scenes and to meet new people.

You don’t need any skills or qualifications all that we ask is that you have an interest in history. 

We believe that the user forums are stimulating and worthwhile activity for you and the museum service.
