The room is available for hire both during the day or evening. When the room is hired in the evening you get exclusive use of the Castle galleries as well as the room itself.  During the day, the room can hold between 60-70 people theatre style or 60 cabaret style, for evening functions (buffets etc) the room can hold around 100 people standing, however if you would like everyone seated around tables the figure would be around 60 - 80 people depending on the layout required. 

There are two large floor to ceiling doors in the room which can be opened out onto the galleries - If these doors are open out onto the galleries we can have up to 200 people, as not everyone will be in the room at the same time.  The cost of room hire includes: tables, chairs, microphones, lectern, flipchart, projector screen, OHP.  Refreshments and PowerPoint facilities can be and can be provided on request for an additional charge.
