Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 11am to 5pm all year round

Closed all Mondays and 24th to 27th December and 1st January.

We aim to open all galleries at all times. Occasionally, galleries need to be closed at short notice due to conservation, maintenance works or events. If you are coming to the Museum to see something in a specific gallery, please call in advance.

This is a FREE museum.

Hollytrees Museum is a 10minutes walk from Colchester Town railway, up Queens Street and St Botolph's Street. We are 5 minutes walk from the main bus station on East Hill.
