Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm
Sunday 11am - 5pm
Closed all Mondays and 24th to 27th December and 1st January.
We aim to open all galleries at all times. Occasionally, galleries need to be closed at short notice due to conservation, maintenance works or events. How to find us
The Natural History Museum is situated opposite the main gates to Colchester's Castle Park at the eastern end of the High Street. The nearest car parks are Priory Street and Britannia. The museum is a 10minute walk from the bus station in Osborne Street and Colchester Town railway station.
